I am Yana, a UX/UI Designer based in Scottsdale, Arizona. I like to learn the functionality, and design of everyday things to find better solutions to improve them. 

I moved to a new country where I had a chance to do what I was passionate about. I discovered UX/UI design via my friend. Her work was amazing, simple, and intuitive. I didn't have experience in this field, but I couldn't wait to start my design journey. So, I decided to switch careers. UX design combines creativity with being technical. That is perfect since I am a creative person, and I enjoy solving technical problems. I have been so happy learning UX/UI design and making it my future career. 

I have a financial background and have experience working in other areas - banking, retail, and customer service. Customer service taught me that I have to be patient, and listen to the customers who are now my users. Finance experience helped me build solid analytical skills, which means I like to do research and to uncover complex problems, and find potential solutions. 

I like to immerse myself in habits and patterns of human behavior, which helps me accomplish my mission; to create design solutions based on users' needs.
